13th International Conference on Software Quality

On October 6-9, the 13th International Conference on Software Quality (13ICSQ) will be held at Renaissance Dallas-Richardson Hotel in Dallas, Texas.  The purpose of the conference is to promote the use of quality principles, philosophies and practices in our software processes. 

About the 13ICSQ Conference:

 

Key Note Speakers:

  • James Bach

Presentations will address software quality related topics including:

  • Software quality management at the strategic, tactical and operational levels

  • Software processes

  • Software project management

  • Software metrics, measurement and analytical methods

  • Software peer reviews, testing, verification and validation

  • Software audits

  • Software standards.  

Pre and post-conference, half-day and full day tutorials will also be offered in the same topic areas.  Attendance is expected to range between 350-450, with representatives from across North America and around the world.

 

Objectives of this year’s conference include the Software Division’s desire to:

  •  Provide attendees with an understanding of those software quality practices that have proved effective in a wide range of industries, applications and organizational settings. 

  •  Enhance personal and professional growth as a forum for exchanging practical ideas and experiences. 

  • Improve the professionalism of practitioners, the satisfaction of customers, and the well-being of the larger society.

Attendees at past conferences have included:

  • Executives responsible for life cycle management

  • Process, product, system and software managers  

  • Software quality engineers

  • Software analysts / engineering

  • Software process engineering

  • Software testing, verification & validation analysts / engineers

  • Others interested in any or all aspects of the system / software life cycle and quality 

Attendees of the conference have an opportunity to:
